Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

"In all things of nature there is something of the marvellous."

Aristotle (384 - 322 B.C.)

The Greek philosopher's prosaic observation influenced the photograph discussion
AItalian sister company reported Mother Nature's free solution  to the issues of
Covid prevention and rising energy prices...fresh air and the warm sun! Staff have
eagerly taken up the offer to work outside...increasing productivity, diminishing the
Covid risk and reducing heating/ventilation bills. Mother Nature has provided the
U.K. with a green and pleasant land but businesses need to be more realistic.

How can we help?...By providing Apps for a world renowned IoT system, we
enable you to manage the Covid risk and control heating bills.

Covid risk is monitored by networking a group of Dyson HEPA Cool Formaldehyde
fans. The features include remote control of all devices,  alert notifications,
comprehensive management reports, and ability to interact with other devices.

Heating control is managed by automatically controlling the individual radiators
in each room. No more "dead" heat or cold meetings.

Heating Management

"You look after the pennies...and the pounds look after themselves."

Anonymous.

The homespun phrase is probably not on the Harvard Business School's curriculum
but it is still a relevant business guideline.

The mundane radiator control picture is tangible example.  Set to the highest level
by a well meaning employee it may remain in situ for the rest of the day but the room
has emptied - "dead" heat - or another employee enters and opens the window
because it is too hot. Multiply every radiator in the building by the recent Ofgem price
cap increase of 54% from April 1st, 2022, compounded by the Ukraine war energy
shortages, and the pennies are soon burning up the pounds.

In order to minimise the impact, we enable the management of the full range of
radiators in any building, making supply responsive to demand. Desk top P.C. and
mobile phone controls are provided using sensors and the IoT server.

Home Automation

"There is no finer investment for any community than
putting milk into babies."

Winston Churchill.

Churchill had such a wonderful knack of putting life's priorities into simple
phrases. A robust family man, we can only speculate what he would have
made of today's tech savvy family...probably impressed!

As you seek to protect, nurture and develop your family's lives, we modify
and enhance your home to meet today's expectations. Using our software
development skills to bring together different embedded IoT technologies,
we enable your vision for a home that is more than smart...it's intelligent.
Examples include:

- When you get into bed, automatically turn off the lights, lock the door and
activate the alarm
- When you get out of bed, automatically switch on the lights, de-activate
the alarm, activate the shower, and water the plants

Energy  Management

"What good is a baby?!"

Michael Farady, Royal Institute, 1821.

After giving a demonstration of an electrically powered motor to the Royal
Institute in 1821, an indignant Michael Farady gave the above reply when
someone asked "What good is it?"

It may have been a reasonable questions as it was fifty years before electric
power took off. Two hundred years on we now stand in the cusp of another revolution.
As the U.K. and many other climate sensitive countries continue the drive
towards a Net Zero economy, Farady's inventions are set to get an even
bigger boost with the increasing and rapid development of electric cars,
boats and solar powered homes.

If your personal or business ambition is to move in this direction, we provide
the relevant IoT devices to get the optimum energy management whether
in the home or in business, including off grid for inaccessible areas.

Visitor Experience

"He who is only a traveller learns things at second-hand and
by the halves, and is poor authority."

Henry David Thoreau

The American poet has a haunting point. As travel patterns change there
is an ever increasing demand to learn as part of the enjoyment. Scenery
and atmosphere are no longer enough. Visitors are more curious. What
were the people like? How did they create the place? How did they earn
a living? How did they celebrate?

With our Visitor Experience mobile phone App we provide a richer
experience and your own personal tour guide. We bring together the
history, culture, and heritage of a town, city or County, building the story
around a cultural figure and a series of pleasant walks for all age groups.
A GPS trigger activates an audio clip and commentary, pictures and
or/video regarding a given attraction, building or location with access
to further reading.

Informative, entertaining and enlightening. Think again, Thoreau!
